Jahangir Mohammed, CEO
Jahangir founded Jasper Wireless in 2004 and serves as the company’s chief executive officer.
Prior to founding Jasper Wireless, Jahangir founded and served as the CEO of Kineto Wireless. Kineto pioneered the convergence of WiFi and Cellular technologies. Kineto’s technology has become a GSM standard. He continues to serve on the Board of Kineto.
Previously, Jahangir worked at AT&T Bell laboratories and Lucent.

Scott Barkley, Vice President - Products
Scott has been working in the enterprise software application industry for the last 8 years. Most recently, Scott held the position of Director of Products at Siebel Systems responsible for two emerging product categories in the Life Science vertical: Customer Data Integration (CDI) and Incentive Compensation Management (ICM). Over his tenure at Siebel, he held various marketing positions across multiple product categories and spent one year in Sales, closing early adopter deals with such clients as Astra Zeneca, Cisco, Nike, Kraft and Boeing. Prior to Siebel, Scott served as the Director of Business Development for a wireless test management software vendor; delivering partnership deals including Tekelec, Inet, and Spirent.
Scott has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business where he was a Wade Fetzer Scholar; and a B.A. from Princeton University.

Daniel Collins, Chief Technology Officer - Wireless
Daniel is a 20 year veteran of the wireless communications industry. Daniel began his career at Ericsson, where he worked in product development and product management roles and helped develop some of the world’s earliest GSM networks. He played a key role in the adaptation of GSM standards for use in North America and a major contributor to the launch of some of the earliest GSM networks in NA.
Daniel also served as an independent consultant for many years on 2.5G, 3G and IP technologies to tier one service providers around the world. In particular, Daniel was retained for eighteen months by AT&T Wireless as Chief Network Architect for the design and deployment of AT&T Wireless’s nationwide GSM/GPRS network. Daniel also worked with Alcatel North America as Vice President of Fixed Mobile Convergence and was responsible for Alcatel North America’s convergence strategies and solutions.
Daniel is the author of Carrier Grade Voice over IP, and co-author of 3G Wireless Networks, both published by McGraw-Hill.

Mark Fisher, Executive Vice President - Worldwide Marketing and Business Development
Mark has over 22 years of experience in the telecommunication industry. Mostly recently, Mark was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Danger, Inc. where he implemented Danger’s commercial relationships with strategic OEM partners. Mark also led Danger’s marketing relationships with its operator partners around the globe. Finally, Mark was responsible for Danger’s marketplace and content hosting and merchandizing business. Danger was acquired by Microsoft in 2008. Before joining Danger, Mark was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Concentric Network Corporation, an international Internet Services Provider (ISP) which went public in 1997 and was acquired by XO Communications in 2001.
Prior to Concentric, Mark was Senior Vice President of Marketing and then General Manager at Pacific Bell Internet Services where he led the development of Pacific Bell’s first commercial Internet services business from 1992 through 1997. Mark’s telecommunications experience started with Pacific Bell (now AT&T) where Mark held a number of positions in data services product management and launched Pacific Bell’s first broadband data networking services.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the US Naval Academy and an MBA from the Haas School at the University of California at Berkeley.

Jim Given, General Counsel
Jim Given has been supporting successful entreprenurial and public companies for thirty years. Most recently, he spent four years as general counsel to Good Technology, including one year of transitional services to Good''s buyer, Motorola, Inc. Before that, he served as house counsel to Geoworks, Digitial Origin/Radius and Cadence. He also did special project work for Intuit, Ion Systems and Applied Materials.
Jim received his J.D. from University of California, Berkeley and completed his liberal arts studies at Indiana University.

Amit Gupta, Chief Technology Officer - Services
Amit Gupta has been working with computer networks for the last 16 years. Most recently Amit co-founded Andale – the leading provider of services for sellers on eBay and other marketplaces – and served as its CTO/CSO for more than five years. At Andale, he was responsible for designing the high-availability architecture of the Andale services from inception. He also designed innovative solutions to scale up Andale to serve over 500 million transactions/day and over 200 Mbps.
Amit obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley, where his research focused on providing performance guarantees for packet-switching networks. He also spent over three years at Sun Labs, where his work included distributed systems for fault-tolerant web services and virtual overlay networks. He has over 25 patents issued in distributed systems, and network security.

Nancy J. Hilker - Chief Financial Officer
Nancy serves as the company’s CFO and is responsible for all aspects of finance and other administrative functions.
Nancy brings more than thirty years of experience in financial management, with specific expertise in rapidly growing technology companies. Prior to joining Jasper, she was SVP and CFO of Danger, Inc., from 2002 until its sale to Microsoft in 2008. She also served as SVP and CFO of Liberate Technologies (LBRT) where she managed the company’s initial public offering in 1999 and secondary offering in 2000. Previously, Nancy held management positions at Navio Communications and IntelliCorp, Inc (INAI). She began her career at Deloitte, LLP as a high technology specialist in the emerging business services group.
Nancy earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Jack McGwire, Vice President - Operations and IT
Jack has been specializing in Information Technology and Operations for mission critical applications for twenty years. Most recently, Jack was V.P. of Operations and I.T. for Open Harbor, an ASP solution that automated international trade for DHL, Flextronics, Tyco, and other such firms. Before Open Harbor, Jack was Director of Technical Services for eBay and led the redevelopment of eBay''s operations and technology to establish scalability and reliability. Prior to eBay, Jack held IT executive positions in semiconductor companies such as AMD and VLSI Technology with a special emphasis on highly reliable factory automation.
Jack holds a BSE degree from Princeton University.

Macario Namie, Vice President - Marketing
Macario has over 14 years of software-as-a-service experience in enterprise solutions. Prior to Jasper Wireless, Macario was Director of Worldwide Product Marketing at WebEx, the leader in on-demand collaborative solutions. In this role, Macario was responsible for definition and execution of go-to-market plans across a range of WebEx solutions for the eLearning, Sales, Marketing, Help Desk, Customer Support and R&D industries. Macario also held senior marketing roles at ePeople and Lycos and formed his own company focused on staff augmentation for customer support organizations.
Macario holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Cindy Patterson, Executive Vice President - Worldwide Sales
Cindy has 20 years of experience in the wireless industry. Most recently, she built and led the Enterprise Data direct and indirect sales channels at Verizon Wireless, responsible for deploying business applications at Fortune 1000, Global 500 and Federal Government customers in the United States. Previously, Cindy was President of the Central Texas market for Verizon Wireless where she launched the Verizon Wireless brand and the 3G data network and led all sales channels including retail, indirect and business-to-business.
Cindy’s mobile network operator experience started with GTE-TSI (now Syniverse) where she led market entry into EMEA and Latin America. She also served as the Marketing Director for GTE Wireless in San Diego. Cindy started her wireless career with Motorola where she built and deployed a wide range of hardware, software and services to customers throughout North America, EMEA, Latin America and APAC.
Cindy earned a bachelor''s degree in business administration from Michigan State University and an MBA from DePaul University - Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
